Great News Coming out of Turnpike Lane!

A huge shoutout to two of our dedicated Police Community Support Officer's (PCSOs) who demonstrated  exactly what proactive policing is all about! 

After being alerted to a suspicious circumstance by a member of the public, Officers quickly spotted a suspect who had been identified by a victim. Sensing the pressure of the Officer's attention, the suspect attempted to flee, leading our PCSO’s on a fast-paced foot chase throughout the streets of West Green. 

Thanks to their persistence and coordination with Emergency Response Officers, the suspect was successfully intercepted and arrested for Theft and a drug offence near the roundabout at Downhills Way and Belmont Road.

This result is a fantastic example of community intel meeting swift, robust action. A massive thank you to everyone involved for keeping our streets safer today!
